         Reiki

Reiki is a form of energy transmission that allows the practitioner, who has received attunements to different levels, to allow the healing energies of the individual to be channeled through them to bring self-healing and relaxation to the area's of the body that most need it. It can be used in conjunction with most healing methods to enhance and amplify the benefits of both.

"One of the greatest Reiki healing health benefits is stress reduction and relaxation, which triggers the bodies natural healing abilities, and improves and maintains health. Reiki healing is a natural therapy that gently balances life energies and brings health and well being to the recipient.

This simple, non-invasive healing system works with the Higher Self of the Receiver to promote health and well being of the entire physical, emotional and psychic body. Therefore it is truly a system of attaining and promoting wholeness of Mind, Body and Spirit." — From the Reiki for Holistic Health website:

       Polarity Therapy

Polarity Therapy is an effective way to balance and energize the entire system of the body. It uses the 5 Elements of Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether to bring all of your "bodies" – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual – into right relationship with each other through gentle pressure, movement and intention.

"Energy fields and currents exist everywhere in nature. Polarity Therapy asserts that the flow and balance of energy in the human body is the foundation of good health. In the Polarity model, health is experienced when:

Energy systems function in their natural state, and
Energy flows smoothly without significant blockage or fixation.

When energy is unbalanced, blocked or fixed due to stress or other factors, pain and disease arise…" From the American Polarity Therapy Association (APTA) website. This is a good site for more in depth information on how this method works:

       Shamanism

I work with shamanic practices to go between the worlds and discover the root of trauma, wounding and illness. The "Medicine Man/Woman" has been using this for thousands of years all over the world, in the villages and communities of native inhabitants to heal and protect their people. It has been brought to the West as a complimentary service to allopathic medicine, through a variety of well-known people such as Alberto Villoldo of The Institute of Energy Medicine, teacher of Andean/Peruvian methods and Michael Harner who works with the Native American traditions.

"Shamanism ( SHAH-mən or SHAY-mən) is a practice that involves a practitioner reaching altered statesof consciousness in order to perceive and interact with a spirit world and channel these transcendental energies into this world. " From Wikipedia … has a good overall explanation of what shamanism is and where it originated:

       Bio Dynamic CranioSacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy is commonly used for overall release and relaxation for the whole body, as well as being most effective in addressing migraines, TMJ, head and neck issues and low back pain. The practitioner uses contact with various points on the head, neck, sacrum and ankles to allow movement to return to areas that may have become blocked or restricted. The fluid body is brought into a smooth, easy flow of inhalation and exhalation to allow healing in all area's.

"Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle yet profound non-invasive, hands-on treatment for the whole body.  Performed on a massage table, the client is fully clothed and the touch is generally light and still.  The treatment is focused on supporting the health of the whole being, especially the nervous system.  This is the system that dictates all of the body's functioning, constantly sending and receiving information."
